A lonesome college student named Jiro (Keisuke Koide) is spending his 20th birthday alone when suddenly a beautiful girl (Haruka Ayase) turns up. The few hours that he spends with her are the most incredible moments of his life and Jiro is overwhelmed by his good-fortune in meeting her.

But his happiness does not last for long since she disappears after that. A year later on his 21st birthday, Jiro runs into her again. At least she looks the same, but this time she is somehow different. It is the beginning of a love that would change his life forever…

This is my All Time favorite Japanese Love Story "Cyborg She" one of those most cutiest movies I’ve ever seen…!! Has some really funny moments, some cute moments, some sad moments, it makes you grin & smile in places., A very beautiful film,With Ayase in the lead character role, even though she is nearly a mute cyborg, she played it brilliantly!.A very fun, cute, entertaining japanese movie indeed.In the story Ayase came from the future, she comes back through time to keep a watchful eye on this guy for the rest of his life, until the quake is dated to strike. In the process he falls in love with her…I mean how could you not fall in love with her, just look at her! As a Cyborg she has no real emotional feelings though & never understands this guy. She is just doing her job. She is super strong, quick, powerful & yet still adorably kawai! A little twist at the end reveals all you watched and brings the entire movie into a deeper prospective. As the movie builds somehow she does start having so emotional attachment to her assignment, not physical though.
